Beate, an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with over 20 years in the field, shares her journey towards holistic wellness to manage work-related stress. She incorporates Respectful Caregiving and Reggio Emilia philosophies in her teaching and promotes nature appreciation. Beate aims to empower infant caregivers through infant teacher workshops, parent education, play groups, weaving her expertise of respectful infant caregiving & interaction into all of her services.

In addition to Massachusetts ECE Teacher Certification, Beate holds certifications in Master-Teacher Level Energy Healing, Meditation, and Forest Therapy. She offers holistic wellness services that aim to alleviate stress and plant seeds of mindfulness strategies infant caregivers can bring into their work and life.

Navigating Transitions in the Infant Classroom

Infant classrooms are busy spaces with major and minor transitions throughout the day. When infant teachers move through transition moments respectfully, the children feel valued and safe. Being heard, and having emotions that might appear during transitions validated, creates a feeling of safety. Children need safe spaces in order to learn.

In this class we’ll identify different transition moments in the typical infant classroom and learn how to interact with the infants in a respectful way during these moments.

The techniques and language you’ll learn in this class are easy to integrate into the classroom.
